Yet another thought I had today. I had to get it down before it went away. A 12-word story this time; I've wanted to combined two six word stories for a while. I don't think this counts, but I don't give two pins.
Beauty has always been something that everyone knows by name but is unrecognisable. What is beauty to you? Is it about size? Facial shape? Symmetry? Hair and eye colour? Is it purely about personality?
Who judges beauty anyway? Men and women's magazines? Not for me. Is it pageant judges? Your parents? Your peers?
Unless you can put beauty into a pretty little package and tell me "That's what beauty is", none of us will unanimously agree.
I watched a video commentary on YouTube in which the presenter said "Make the fight your own" (it was a vlog about Bruce Lee's legacy and the martial arts). I'm not going to tell anyone either way what to do, but I'm wondering:
Why don't we make beauty our own? Be beautiful on our own terms? And if no one agrees to our conditions, let them look elsewhere?
